7-7 11:55 AM EDT Valleyfield course. At the Driver's Meeting it was announced that the course is 1 mile and all Heats are 5 laps. Patty says it seems slow, a GP, running with some GNHs, ran 115 KPH (71+ MPH). The sun is starting to peek out and the water is flat.

7-7 12:25 PM EDT Quick notes. The report of a GP at 115 KPH earlier today was slightly deceptive. A GP heat was won by the GP 101 at 174 KPH (108 MPH). Randy Haas tested yesterday in the UL 110 Miss Comp Air in rough water and ran 95 MPH. George Kennedy, Jr. driver of UL 21 Rotary International is also driving GP 555 this weekend.
